Elizabeth Stuart creates ‘Vines of Hope and Love’ wedding favours, exclusively for Cancer Research UK

Wedding Favours 2014

Bridal wear designer Elizabeth Stuart, known for her modern take on romantic fairytale designs, has created a set of limited edition wedding favour pin badges exclusively for Cancer Research UK.

The delicate ‘Vines of Hope and Love’ have been carefully crafted to represent the joining together of two people in love. Staying true to the design skills she is renowned for, Elizabeth has bought together sleek elegance and delicate detail to create favours that are traditional, yet bold and unique.

Couples planning their big day can order the favours for their guests, along with personalised cards with the bride and groom’s names and their wedding date elegantly displayed. Each guest receives one half of the vine to celebrate the couple’s special day and as a reminder of how the occasion brought them all together.

As well as being a meaningful keepsake, choosing Cancer Research UK’s favours also offers a subtle way for the bride and groom to celebrate a friend or family member surviving cancer, or to remember someone close to them.

In return, Cancer Research UK asks that couples make a suggested donation of £2.50 per pin badge, which goes towards the charity’s life-saving work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all cancers to help beat cancer sooner.

Wedding Favours 2014

Elizabeth Stuart said: “I wanted to create something that would subtly represent the creation of a union and symbolise support through times of prosperity and adversity. Weddings are a joyful time, bringing all your loved ones under one roof. These favours are the perfect reminder of a happy day spent together.

“But even more than that, each favour raises money for pioneering research into cancer, which will give more people the chance to get married, see their sons and daughters get married and have more special days together.

“I hope that everyone who orders the pin badges enjoys them and gives generously. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before and Cancer Research UK is at the heart of that progress.”
